Malcolm Reynolds and Inara Serra.
Now, resolving this relationship surely deserves another movie...

Part one of eight.

Pencil with a small amount of the GIMP used to adjust where the scanner highlighted my errors a bit too much! Oh and to add a few sparkles.

You just did better and better!
Love the detail on their clothes, you must have been very patient when doing these....

I think my jaw just dropped to the floor. It's overall a great piece, but with all the little detail it's magnificent! Lovely skintones and shading! This is by far one of your best pieces!
This is excellent. I especially LOVE the details of their clothing! That had to take some time. How do you do it? I'm amazed!
Serenity was a good movie, but I never saw Firefly. Awesome shading! I love seeing artists who still use traditional materials (pencils, markers, etc.) instead of digital coloring! This is awesome!

I was not so much patient as determined.

I've seen the real difference that detail makes to a drawing in other artists work and it is quite satisfying to add the tiny stuff.
It is one of the things that always impressed me with your art for example.
I know I go on a bit about your Wedding Padme but the lace and the background details make it such a beautiful drawing.
The same is true of your Elizabeth Swann 3. The detail in the headdress and collar simply delight the eyes.
So if you are amazed then consider me a pupil of your talent.
